This is the Chipotle closest to my office. Chipotle is such a great concept and well run restaurant. A lot of counter service restaurants could benefit from their method and vibe (in fact, if you watch a new TV show about the "next great restaurant" a lot of people are trying to emulate Chipotle's business model). The food is really good! Their in store marketing is really smart, and the "vibe" in the place makes you feel like you're not in a chain. On that, it's odd: they have somehow managed to get the benefits of "familiarity" from being in a chain, but the feel of being in a local business. They also play some great music (I love the open ceiling feel and the way the crowd and music merge into a busy echo). Even when they're super busy the line is so well ran (very east coast) that it just sails. You think you're in a really long queue but within a minute you're at the counter. I don't get burritos here very often due to being on a diet (yeah, yeah, you can check out the terrifying calories via calculators on various web sites) but you can actually eat really healthy here without much fuss. A bowl with lots of lettuce and beans, choose a meat, light on rice, no cheese, no sour cream, add guac for healthy fat, tomatoes, and you actually have a decent little meal that you won't feel guilty about. Plus, one thing that might be ignored in another place so busy? The staff is really nice and smiles at you. I eat here a couple of times a month, and every once in a while my office does a pick up call in order.

This location on College Blvd. near Corporate Woods is near where I live and I've eaten here fairly often. I used to live in California and really miss the great taquerias in Los Angeles and San Francisco's Mission District. I know Chipotle is a chain, but it provides good value for the money and it comes closest locally to the California-style burritos I miss. These are served dry (not covered in red sauce or cheesy glop) and wrapped in foil for eating by hand. Chipoltle has a variety of meats but I always end up ordering the carnitas burrito with rice, black beans, and some fresh and hot salsa (what would be considered a "regular" burrito in San Francisco). The flavor isn't exactly the same as in California, but close enough! This makes a good, quick meal and satisfies one of my few cravings left over from California.

Like other reviews have said, it's your basic Chipotle food. It's located near a big office park (Corporate Woods) so it gets pretty busy at lunch time, but they still get you in and out pretty quick. I really love their chips, just the right amount of salt.

I love any and all Chipotles, from here until the edge of the Earth, but one time a cashier double-charged me here, which wasn't a big deal, but when I went back to have it credited back in my account, the manager gave me a free burrito, so that's pretty cool.

This is standard Chipotle fare - excellently executed. The burrito nazi at the start of the front-line keeps everything moving so although they do tremendous volume, there is never much of a lunch wait. Note that all meat in KS is drug free. Did you know you can fax orders or create an account and order by email.

Chipotle is one of my fav eat places. Food here is always good and fresh. I especially like this location. The service here is neat and quick. It has quite big room for dine-in and also few tables outside which is cool for evenings. I order rice bowl most of the time. The quantity is sufficient for good 2 people on an average. On a whole perfect go for a lunch or dinner!

Bad experience for the most part. Went in for two orders today and the lady serving at the tortilla station is really rude. She was a petite red/blonde haired women. She made a chicken quesadilla and then got an attitude with me when I said it was only cheese and told me "well....you said chicken so.." . then when she went to make my burrito bowl I watched her make the smallest burrito bowl I've ever seen. half scoops of everything. when I went to check out she forgot to send the quesadilla down the line and ended up throwing it. when I went to the drink station is was filthy and there were dirty lids and dirty sauce cups everywhere. for what it's worth the food tasted quite alrighty. chips were stake tho. I hope to visit here because it's close to work but I would not want to pay for a half assed burrito bowl and a bad attitude again.

It's been at least a year since I've visited a Chipotle. This location is the reason I'd stopped eating at Chipotle. Here's why: The place smelled bad. On one occasion I witnessed a female employee in the side/back food prep area bagging chips with bare hands while eating them at the same time. On a different day after a lunch rush while the place was pretty dead, I witnessed a different female employee eating steak out of the foodline with bare hands. She'd go back a few times to help herself again. I have to assume she didn't realize I could see her. I then spoke with the store manager who didn't seem to either believe me or think these two things were a big deal. I contacted corporate and was told this would be handled. The same manager I spoke with would regularly shout across the restaurant at an employee about all kinds of inappropriate nonsense that he was OK having his customers hear. I had a craving today and returned. Upon entering I was hit in the face with the smell of a dirty mop. That rank smell that means the mop that's being used to "clean" is way overdue for a change. Just gross. Just had it. Won't be returning.

The food is consistently good, with high quality ingredients. I have found the service at this location to be relatively quick, and somewhat friendly. The amount of meat dished out is more than that of other locations. My chicken salad (which is served on a bed of crisp lettuce, instead of a bed of rice, and includes a side of tangy dressing), and a drink has a total cost of $9.01.

We love chipotle! This is the worst one we have been too. It's a pain as it's the closest to us and we have to drive to the next one. We tried it three times, stingy on the ingredients, ignored our requests on type of sauce, and unfriendly. We have moved on.

If oversized greasy fast food burritos are your thing, this is definitely the place for you. I however, am not a fan. I get heartburn every time I eat here and the food isn't that high quality to begin with.

  • Nithin A.

Ima big fan of chipotle and I assumed the quality is same across all locations. This location was terrible. Even though they serve all ingredients, they don't get to serve at right quantity that makes an entree from chipotle the very best. I bought a bowl that did not taste like a chipotle bowl. I had to ask for double on each item to get the normal quantity. They served very little of other ingredients except rice. The bowl was only half full when it was fully made. I would rather try the chipotle on 135th street instead of this location.

For a fast food restaurant this place rocks. I love being able to run in and get a healthy lunch/dinner in a couple Minutes. The food really tasty and their guacamole is better than most sit down Mexican restaurants!

My most favorite Chipotle. I've gone here for years and have never had a bad experience. One time I clumsily dropped my bowl and the manager remade it for me free oh charge. The one thing I think really stands out is that when you are telling them what you want (ie. Salsa) they don't just assume what you want like most places. No, I hate pico. Don't assume because everyone else gets it that I will! Never bane this issue here. And the staff is friendly

I'm a fan of the Chipotle fast-casual concept, and they've done a good job with quality & consistency, which means you can go into any one of their restaurants & know what you can get (aka The good part about chains.) Here, it's the mega-sized burritos, tacos, and bowls. You can get an off-menu quesadilla, but that's about it. The menu is laser-focused for a reason, they're not set up to do a lot of different things. The Boy is perfectly happy to make a meal of the chips & salsa. The guacamole is insanely good... I don't know what they are putting in it, but it's like crack. This location anchors a strip-mall right next to the Corporate Woods office complex, so they are quite expert at handling the lunch rush. They're also located smack in the middle of my route home, so I sometimes call them the I'm-not-cooking-dinner-tonight stop. I also like their "Food with Integrity" mission, and the efforts that they make to ethically source their ingredients.

Okay to start off I go and wait for 10 minutes just to be disappointed when before I can speak they grap a handful of lettuce on my burrito. After that my son Shit himself and was screaming and made a mess all over the bathroom and the manager flipped out. First off, he is illegal. I could deport his ass with a snap of a finger. That is all. Keep calm and chive on.

I'm a big fan of the big burritos at Chipotle. It is upscale fast food if there is such a thing. Yes, you can end up with a 1,500 calorie gut bomb, but if you choose wisely there are healthy choices. For example, the tortilla alone is 290 calories!!!! Damn, dump it in a bowl and you just saved 12% of your daily calorie intake. I do like that their proteins are hormone free. They also offer brown rice which tastes pretty much like the white, but with fibrous benefits. Their hot salsa is my absolute favorite! I always get it in the burrito and then a side as well. Nice they have multiple Tabasco varieties to choose from as well. I do like their industrial vibe and this particular Chipotle has a nice outdoor patio overlooking the woods of Corporate Woods. All in all a pretty good lunch option. BEWARE: you must time it right (before 11:20ish) or you may find yourself waiting in a largo line.

Come on guys, what's going on down there? Our office orders from this Chipotle location about once a week. We use the online ordering system to submit 6 to 12 peoples orders at a time. Up until the last month, the orders have usually been right. Occasionally they made a mistake on one of the orders, which happens anywhere. But in the last month to six weeks, there is usually at least one order that was wrong. Last week we ordered 6 items and 3 of them were totally wrong (wrong meat, wrong toppings). We called to complain and they were gracious enough (after arguing with us) to offer us three free bowls. Today we took them up on that and ordered the three free bowls plus four other paying bowls. Two of the free bowls were wrong! They even clearly wrote on the top of the container that they were free. If you place orders online or via fax, check them before you leave the restaurant because you may not get what you ordered. The management there needs to get things together in the call-in section because you are losing customers and money. We are debating driving a little farther to go to the 91st street location in hopes of getting what we order. The food is great (when it is right)!

Lost a star: giving me the dregs of the peppers instead of bringing the fresh batch out so I could get even more. Nobody likes beans, don't lie, they are not the magical fruit. The peppers are boss. Lost more stars: No Diet Dr. Pepper. Just Coke Zero. What is this, a new level of hell? Other than that very much a prototypical Chipotle which is amazing to help lighten the crushing blackness of a bad hangover.

I love Chipotle and this location knows that its key demographic is a bunch of professionals and no matter how ridiculous the line has seemed, I don't think I've ever waited more than 5 minutes. The concept lends itself to the speed, but it's very concerting to know that I can stop in this location and be out the door with takeout in 5-7 minutes.

This Chipotle is very nearby my office, and it does a lot of business (like most Chipotles do). Their system for cranking out burritos is impressive, and they deal with the corporate crowd and their fussiness as well as any of the shops around Corporate Woods. I've always gotten great burritos here! The burrito makers can be a little negligent in actually listening to what you're saying, so you have to speak up if you want something done a certain way. I've had them go backwards before because they seem to miss some of the instructions you give. No matter though - with a little guidance, the end product is amazing and the wait (despite lines that seem to stretch infinitely) is not as bad as some of the other restaurants nearby that don't have the T Model Ford assembly line layout of this burrito palace. Definitely a great little Chipotle.

The food at this one has always been nice and hot (except of course for the stuff that is suppose to be cold....) and the staff always friendly. This is my favorite one in the area to go to. Except for right at Noon - then it is PACKED for lunch.

Chipotle is Chipotle is Chipotle...right? Hmmm... This location is close to my work and fills up fast (out the door) during lunch time. My huge complaint is they staff up the line for lunch...ok...but there are usually too many people asking me questions and pushing my order along. They don't stop to listen. Not everyone wants a huge amount of rice or black beans. I get it when it is packed to have extra help. But when it is slow or just ramping up, please lay off the autopilot and listen to your customers. Other than not listening to the individual customer, this location is just an ordinary Chipotle not a standout.

How could I have not reviewed this location? I come here almost every Thursday with my son for dinner. Dad's night out and Mom's night to not cook. It is very fast, consistent and I love that they have added brown rice in the last year. I usually get the bowl and both my son and I always get steak. I love their chips - with the hint of lime salt. Yum! Definitely know what you are getting here and the customer service is great and efficient.

Always packed but they move so quick you never wait long, even when the line is out the door. Great food

The tacos were ok, but the beef was a little dry and tough. I wish they would offer a taco with ground beef instead!! Order salads they are better.

This is a really good chipotle. We all know they strive for consistency and today I got that plus speed like nothing else. I was probably 25 people deep and was through the line in 5 minutes. Good work.

Usually you can taste the lime in the rice, the juicy flavor of the chicken and the fresh tasting beans.. I know I ate and I feel full, but... I've gotten more taste from a microwave meal!

I've been here plenty of times and the service was always pretty fast. This time, I tried ordering from my iPhone. When I went in, I mentioned I ordered online and they moved me to the head of the line and immediately made my order. I was impressed they got everything right. The only thing that would have been better is if they had it made so that when I arrived, I could just grab it and go.

Went here today for a late lunch after a visit to the spa a few doors down from Chipotle. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. I had 3 hard tacos with shredded beef that was seasoned perfectly with fresh salsa, lettuuce, cheese and the were so good. I thought they were a little pricey at $8.00, but, oh well. The price is the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars. First time eating at a Chipotle, but will try it out again because it was really, really good.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
